Learn More About Sophi
Hi, welcome to Rewrite Psychotherapy! My name is Sophi Diab, and I am a Registered Psychotherapistwith a passion for supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and everything in between.
I strive to bring warmth, humanity, and clinical expertise into the therapeutic space, grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. My role isn’t to tell you who to be or hand you all the answers, but to work alongside you—to better understand what’s happening, build practical skills, explore new perspectives, and create meaningful change.
I have experience supporting clients with a range of concerns, includinganxiety and mood-related difficulties, ADHD and other neurodevelopmental differences, family conflict, divorce and separation, school-related challenges, life transitions, and trauma.
My therapeutic approach is grounded primarily in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)while integrating other evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), based on each client’s individual needs, strengths, and goals. I value therapy that is collaborative, transparent, and rooted in current psychological research—while still leaving room for humour, curiosity, connection, and the very human moments that make therapy feel genuine.
Whether you’re a parent or guardian looking for relatable support for your child, a student navigating the pressures of school and relationships, or a young adult finding your way through the ever-changing landscape of early adulthood, our work will be tailored to you. Together, we can strengthen coping skills, better understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work toward change that feels realistic, authentic, and meaningful in your everyday life.
Beginning therapy can feel unfamiliar and vulnerable, and you don’t have to have everything figured out before you start. I’m here to meet you where you are and walk alongside you at your own pace, with empathy, intention, and respect for your individual story.
You are the author of your own story. Together, we can rewrite what comes next.
